Anderson Brothers Design & Supply

Production Graphic Designer Apparel & Accessories

Job Description

Production Graphic Designer - Apparel & AccessoriesAbout Anderson Brothers Design & Supply Anderson Brothers Design & Supply (ABDS) is a full-service product development and merchandise company specializing in custom apparel, accessories, promotional products, sourcing, production, and fulfillment. We work with established brands to develop merchandise programs from initial concept through final production. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer to join our design team. Position Summary The Production Graphic Designer will support our design and product development teams by creating product matrices, preparing customer order decks, developing apparel and accessory mockups, and managing design revisions throughout the customer approval process. This is not solely a conceptual graphic design position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable taking an established creative direction and developing it into accurate, organized, and professional customer-facing presentations. Our senior designers typically develop the first and second creative versions. This position will help clean up and organize those decks, incorporate customer feedback, execute ongoing revisions, update product information, and prepare approved artwork for production. Approximately 90% of the work for this position is completed in Adobe Illustrator. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain product matrices for graphic tees, apparel, headwear, accessories, and branded merchandise. Build, organize, and update professional customer order decks and product presentation decks. Clean up and refine decks after the initial creative concepts have been developed. Complete customer-requested revisions following the first and second rounds of design. Translate customer comments and account-manager direction into accurate visual updates. Create apparel and accessory mockups using supplied product blanks, templates, photography, and brand assets. Update artwork, garment colors, product styles, graphic placements, decoration methods, quantities, pricing, and product descriptions. Maintain visual consistency and accuracy across product matrices, order decks, tech packs, and approved artwork. Verify product names, item numbers, colorways, artwork placements, design versions, and other order details. Prepare vector artwork and production-ready files for screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers, patches, labels, and other decoration methods. Organize customer logos, artwork, fonts, mockups, revisions, approvals, and final production files. Maintain clear version control throughout the revision and approval process. Follow customer brand standards and established creative direction. Coordinate with account managers, product developers, designers, vendors, and production teams. Manage multiple customer accounts, revision requests, and deadlines simultaneously. Assist the design team with additional production-art and presentation needs. Required Qualifications Must be highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Approximately 90% of the daily work is completed in Adobe Illustrator. Three or more years of professional graphic design or production-art experience. Experience in apparel, accessories, promotional products, licensed merchandise, or consumer products is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience creating product matrices, line sheets, order decks, or customer product presentations. Strong experience creating apparel and accessory mockups. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. Strong understanding of vector artwork and production-file preparation. Understanding of apparel-decoration methods, including screen printing and embroidery. Strong typography, color, composition, and presentation-layout skills. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, file organization, and version control. Ability to work within an established creative direction and execute revisions accurately. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Comfortable receiving feedback and making detailed customer-requested revisions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is creative, organized, efficient, and highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator. They enjoy both design and the detailed execution required to move a project from concept through customer approval and production. This person understands that a successful design presentation requires more than attractive artwork. It also requires accurate product information, organized layouts, careful revision management, consistent branding, and production-ready files. They should be comfortable taking a partially completed deck, cleaning it up, incorporating customer feedback, and turning it into a polished and accurate order presentation without losing the original creative direction. Portfolio Requirement Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating relevant work. Examples of apparel graphics, accessory mockups, product matrices, line sheets, customer presentation decks, or production artwork are strongly preferred. Selected candidates may be asked to complete a brief Adobe Illustrator skills assessment as part of the interview process. How to Apply Please submit your résumé and a link to your portfolio. In your application, briefly describe your experience using Adobe Illustrator to create apparel or accessory presentations, product matrices, order decks, mockups, or production-ready artwork. Applications submitted without a portfolio may not be considered.
