Junior Graphic Designer

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Graphic Designer creates visually compelling designs that communicate brand messages across digital and print channels. This role collaborates with marketing, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver highquality creative assets—such as social media graphics, web banners, email templates, presentations, packaging, and promotional materials—while maintaining brand consistency. The position combines strong visual design skills with excellent attention to detail, understanding current design trends, and can manage multiple projects in from concept to final production. Also makes occasional memes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Develop creative concepts and produce designs for digital (web, social, email) and print (brochures, flyers, signage) deliverables. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines; ensure consistency across all visual communications. Create production-ready files and oversee prepress for print vendors. Design and optimize web graphics, landing page visuals, and UI assets in collaboration with web/product teams. Produce motion and video assets (e.g., short animations, basic editing) when needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present design options, and iterate based on feedback. Manage multiple projects simultaneously; meet deadlines and quality standards. Prepare mockups, mood boards, and style frames to communicate creative direction.

Conduct asset management:

organize files, maintain libraries, and ensure proper version control. Stay current with design trends, accessibility best practices, and emerging tools/technologies. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver marketing projects on time and within budget. Obtaining necessary consent and providing final approval on all marketing collateral, products and promotions Support Leadership with development and implementation of marketing strategies.

SKILLS Visual design excellence:

layout, typography, color theory, composition, and hierarchy.

Software proficiency:

Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), plus Figma or Sketch for digital/UI, and Canva / Marq for quick-turn assets. Knowledge in AI software.

Digital design skills:

responsive web graphics, social media asset creation, email templates. Print design & production: bleeds, CMYK vs RGB, paper stocks, prepress, and vendor coordination.

Basic motion/video:

After Effects or Premiere Pro for simple animations/edits.

Asset preparation:

exporting, optimization, file formats, and accessibility-conscious design. Communication & collaboration: ability to present ideas clearly and incorporate feedback constructively.

Time management:

prioritization, organization, and attention to detail under tight timelines. Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to do job without supervision and be self-driven towards improvements.
