Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Sublimation/DTF (Direct-to-Film) Apparel and Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend cutting-edge textile printing techniques with vibrant graphic design, crafting eye-catching apparel and merchandise that stand out in the marketplace. As a key contributor, you will drive the visual identity of our apparel lines, transforming ideas into compelling designs that resonate with diverse audiences. This paid position provides a platform to showcase your creativity while collaborating across departments to bring innovative products to life. Duties Develop original designs for apparel using sublimation and DTF printing techniques, ensuring vibrant color reproduction and durability. Create detailed graphic illustrations and artwork utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Collaborate closely with the product development team to translate fashion concepts into printable designs, considering garment construction and textile properties. Prepare design files compatible with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and ensure accurate color theory application for print consistency. Assist in developing artistic concepts through sketching, vector illustration, and digital art to visualize final products. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, manufacturing, and marketing to align design vision with brand goals. Stay updated on industry trends in fashion styling, textile innovations, and graphic design software to keep designs fresh and competitive. Support the production process by reviewing proofs, troubleshooting printing issues, and ensuring high-quality output across all apparel items. Experience Proven experience in graphic design illustration, preferably within the apparel or textile industry. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), along with familiarity with graphic design software such as CAD or 3D modeling tools. Knowledge of textiles in industrial design and garment construction processes is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop artistic concepts from initial sketches through final digital artwork. Experience working with sublimation or DTF printing techniques is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with product lifecycle management, fashion retail dynamics, and merchandising strategies enhances your fit for this role. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and departments. A portfolio showcasing professional art or design work that highlights creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
