Track Shack Events is a locally owned, event marketing company that produces 16 unique road races throughout Central Florida. It is the sister company to Track Shack, a specialty running retailer. The family of businesses also includes the Track Shack Training Programs and the non-profit, Track Shack Youth Foundation. This part-time, on-site role is focused on producing the day-to-day design work that promotes our events, training programs, and retail store. We're looking for an organized, reliable designer who can work efficiently on a part-time schedule of 16-24 hours per week and take a project from brief to final file.
Core Tasks:
Produce creative materials for Track Shack races and events, including signage, bibs, promotional materials, sponsor materials, and other event collateral. Create retail store graphics for sales, promotions, and monthly calendar of events. Assist social media team with graphics (posts, stories, event countdowns and results announcements) for the races, training programs, and store. Update training plans and program materials for the Track Shack Training Programs. Build email graphics and web banners to support event registration and promotions. Edit and enhance existing event photography for use in marketing pieces. Prepare print-ready files for large-format items such as banners and finish-line signage. Turn around first drafts from marketing team requests and apply revisions, keeping all work within brand guidelines and deadlines. Organize and maintain design files, templates, and commonly used brand assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. A portfolio showing social media, print and layout work. Able to manage several small projects at once and meet deadlines while working a part-time schedule. Can take verbal or written direction and turn it into finished, inspiring designs. Strong attention to detail in typography, layout and print specifications. Self-starter who can work independently and check in with the team as needed. College training in Graphic Design. Video experience a plus.
