POSTION OVERVIEW

Joy Carpets is seeking a passionate, creative, and responsible graphic designer to join its creative team. Associate Designer will work closely with Designer & Marketing Manager to provide support to Joy Carpets' sales, marketing, and product development initiatives.

Responsibilities include the following:

Creation, processing, and cataloging of product and lifestyle photography Assist in development of marketing collateral and sales tools Assist in processing of new carpet and rug designs Assist in website maintenance and operation of photography studio Assist in planning social media strategies and creating original, on-brand content Candidate must be a creative thinker, able to learn and work in a hands-on, team oriented, business environment, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of carpet and rug industry and willingness to participate in periodic convention travel is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related fine arts field

PREFERRED CONCENTRATIONS

Graphic design, illustration, photography

QUALIFICATIONS

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of color and design fundamentals Proficient in digital image creating and editing Proficient in illustration Familiar with Microsoft Excel

PREFERRED INTERESTS

Carpet and area rug design, marketing, advertising, photography

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years preferred but not required

COMPENSATION

Commensurate with experience
