Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Structural Maintenance Job Summary Prepare and install interior and exterior signage using computerized engraving system. Produce design graphics layouts for signage. Fabricate signs in a variety of methods to ensure smooth production. Responsibilities Perform graphics work in the layout graphic and fabrication of a variety of signs and printouts Install, replace and repair signage in order to meet various local/ federal government signage standards Fabricate signage using vinyl plotter Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience Two (2) or more years of related work experience Proposed Salary $19.15 - $23.97 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. ABILITIES

Consistently exhibit engaging customer service Ability to support various constituencies served by the University Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position Ability to operate: computerized self-sustaining engraving sign machines, heat transfer press, cut-off saw and edge beveling machines Ability to read and understand construction plans and work order instructions

KNOWLEDGE

Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success Familiar with computer or graphic software (such as Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) Knowledge of the standards in layout and fabrication techniques of signage SKILLS Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills Skill in operating a variety of graphics-related equipment: printers, plotters, scanners, and sublimation devices Attentive to detail
