Job Description

Position Summary The Graphic Production Artist is responsible for creating, editing, and preparing production-ready artwork for athletic uniforms and related products. This role supports multiple departments by translating customer artwork, mockups, and design concepts into accurate digital files for manufacturing and decoration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and edit vector artwork using computer-based design software.
  • Recreate logos, lettering, numbering systems, and garment artwork from customer-provided files, mockups, and samples.
  • Update and revise existing garment mockups in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including color changes, artwork placement, logos, lettering, and other customer-requested adjustments.
  • Prepare and adapt artwork for sublimation, embroidery, tackle twill, and other applicable decoration methods.
  • Set up artwork with the dimensions, colors, layers, line weights, and file formats required for each production process.
  • Place and scale artwork on garment templates, verifying alignment, coverage, bleed, and consistency before releasing files to production.
  • Prepare clean vector artwork for embroidery digitizing and revise artwork based on digitizing, sew-out, or production feedback.
  • Work with production personnel to identify and correct artwork that cannot be manufactured as submitted.
  • Maintain brand consistency and follow customer or licensing guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Design teams to resolve artwork and order issues.
  • Review artwork at multiple stages and make revisions as needed.
  • Organize and maintain digital artwork files and related documentation.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements as assigned.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or comparable raster-editing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • Understanding of garment decoration processes.
  • Experience with vector artwork and typography.
