Job Description

Role Overview Packaging Designer responsible for creating and maintaining all product packaging artwork, ensuring production-ready files and consistent visual identity across all product lines.
Location:
Park Forest, Illinois Employment Type:
Full-Time Core Responsibilities Design product packaging, including labels, cartons, master cases, inserts, and related artwork. Create production-ready files in Adobe Illustrator for manufacturing and printing. Maintain organized file structure, version control, and digital asset management for all packaging artwork. Prepare packaging layouts with correct bleed, die lines, safety margins, and print specifications. Update and revise existing packaging designs while maintaining consistency across all SKUs. Ensure accuracy of all artwork before sending to production. Apply print finishing specifications (spot UV, embossing, foil stamping, etc.) when required in artwork setup. Secondary Responsibilities Design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, catalogs, banners, and promotional assets. Create digital graphics for website, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns. Support product launches and promotional design needs. Assist marketing and e-commerce teams with general design requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced Adobe Illustrator proficiency. Experience in packaging and label design. Strong understanding of print production and production-ready file setup. Strong file organization and version control discipline. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain design consistency across product lines. Preferred Skills Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign experience. Experience in consumer product packaging environments. Experience with print production workflows. Knowledge of color management, print finishing, and large-format production. Photography or basic product rendering experience. Additional Notes Primary focus is packaging design and production artwork. Marketing and digital design support is secondary to packaging responsibilities. Strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and production readiness.
Pay:
$60,000.00 per year
