Job Summary We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Graphic Designer, Pursuits to bring ideas to life through clear, compelling, and polished PowerPoint and InDesign proposals and presentations. This role partners closely with teams across the business—including senior leadership, business develop and marketing—to create high quality presentations and proposals for our clients. This is more than a production-focused design role. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who can think critically, structure content, shape narratives, and elevate ideas—not simply format slides or layout content in InDesign from Word. This individual will play a key role in defining how important messages are communicated across the organization. Major Areas of responsibilities Design and develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations for executive meetings, client pitches, and internal communications. Create compelling proposals and presentation materials in support of Business Development and Work Acquisition initiatives. Transform rough content, outlines, stakeholder input, and conversations into clear, structured, and visually engaging presentations. Shape presentation narratives, story flow, and messaging to create effective and persuasive communications. Develop clean, modern layouts, diagrams, infographics, and data visualizations that simplify complex information. Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to refine content, messaging, and presentation strategies. Build, maintain, and evolve PowerPoint templates, design systems, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and efficiency. Elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of presentations across the organization. Source and integrate imagery, icons, and visual elements that strengthen storytelling and align with brand standards. Manage multiple priorities while balancing speed, quality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. Ensure all presentation materials reflect a high standard of design excellence, professionalism, and brand consistency.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in graphic design within an agency, consulting, corporate, or in-house environment. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Expert-level PowerPoint skills, including complex slide design, template creation, and animation development. Demonstrated experience creating executive-level presentations that communicate ideas with clarity, impact, and visual excellence. Proven ability to take unstructured information and transform it into compelling, audience-focused stories. Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including layout, typography, hierarchy, composition, and visual communication. Excellent visual judgment, with the ability to source and select imagery that reinforces messaging, creates engagement, and improves understanding. Strong portfolio showcasing presentation design, visual storytelling, and proposal development work. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working directly with stakeholders and senior leaders. High attention to detail and commitment to quality, consistency, and accuracy. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Experience designing proposals, pursuit materials, or business development collateral. Experience supporting executive leadership communications and high-stakes presentations. Familiarity with corporate branding systems and presentation governance standards. Experience working in architecture, engineering, construction, professional services, consulting, or similar industries is a plus.
