A Graphic Designer works with text and images to create design for printed material or web sites. Develops visual designs, such as a logo, that establish an identity or brand for an organization, business or campaign; uses design skills to improve the visual impact of advertising messages, reports, books or websites. May produce documents and printed materials using desktop publishing software and equipment. May work for a publishing company or provide printed business or marketing material for business clients.
Nature of Work Create and execute original media involving graphics, photos, video and audio for website and publications. Conceptualizes design layout of finished art for reproduction and coordinates final production of finished product with applicable production departments.
Examples of Work Performed Essential Duties:
Serve as the lead for Athletic CSC Live broadcast operations, including setup, production, direction, and post-production for home athletic events and other designated athletic events. Manage and maintain all broadcast equipment, including transport, setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing functionality of Athletic events for CSC Live systems. Coordinate logistics for live event production, including staffing and training for athletic events. Hire, train, and develop student workers for athletic events on CSC Live Create and produce multimedia content to support athletic program promotional efforts related to events, student-athletes, and as assigned. Develop video recaps of Chadron State home athletic events. Develop video stories about CSC student-athletes. Assist Director Sports Information with CSC Athletics social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more. Serve as the lead graphic designer for CSC Athletics pertaining to social media content, internal and external video marketing, marketing campaigns, billboards and more. Assist with CSC Athletic branding development and execution.
Secondary Duties:
1. Coordinate with College Relations in all areas pertaining to community engagement. 2. Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
