About Us The Staten Island FerryHawks are dedicated to creating a vibrant, fan-first experience on and off the field. From ballpark signage and promotional materials to social media graphics and community campaigns, our design team plays a crucial role in telling our story. We're seeking a detail-oriented and creative Assistant Graphic Designer Intern to join our Marketing & Entertainment team for the Fall. Position Overview The Assistant Graphic Designer Intern will support the creation of marketing materials and digital/print designs for social media. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in sports design, brand development, and live event marketing. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing creative concepts for marketing campaigns, theme nights, and fan engagement initiatives. Create and update graphics for social media, website, and email campaigns . Design print collateral such as flyers, posters, signage, and promotional materials. Maintain consistency with the FerryHawks' brand guidelines and visual identity across all platforms. Collaborate with the Marketing and Entertainment teams to brainstorm and execute new ideas . Help organize and manage creative assets for future use and reference . Qualifications Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field . Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (InDesign and After Effects a plus). Experience designing for print production (file setup, bleeds, sizing) preferred. Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment . Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Learning Outcomes Hands-on experience designing for a professional sports team . Portfolio pieces in digital, print, and event marketing . Exposure to live event branding and in-game entertainment design . Practical knowledge of working within a brand system and creative workflow . Compensation This is an unpaid internship ; students must seek academic credit through their college or university.
