Senior Designer Location:
New York, NY Working Pattern:
Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in the studio
Salary:
$90,000-$110,000 We're working with an exciting, strategically driven creative agency to help them find a talented Senior Designer to join their growing New York studio. This is an opportunity for a thoughtful, highly creative designer with strong experience across CPG branding, packaging and identity . You'll be involved throughout the creative process, from research and idea generation through to concept development, design execution and final production. The ideal candidate will bring strong ideas, excellent craft and a keen eye for detail, alongside a collaborative, can-do approach. You'll work across a diverse range of projects and brands, helping to maintain a high creative standard while contributing to an inspiring and collaborative studio environment. The Role Contribute across all stages of the creative process, including research, idea generation, concept exploration, design development and finalisation Develop strong, original ideas and translate them into thoughtful and compelling design solutions Act as a design guardian for client brands, ensuring colour, typography, visual equities and broader brand standards are consistently maintained Deliver high-quality creative work that responds effectively to client objectives and challenges Apply a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail across every stage of the design process Work across branding, visual identity, packaging and related design systems Develop an understanding of projects from initial brief through to final production Organise and maintain design files, master assets and other project materials Support the team in managing external creative specialists, including illustrators and visualisers Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, account teams and other creative disciplines Contribute to a positive, inspiring and collaborative studio culture Over time, support and mentor more junior members of the creative team About You 4+ years' experience working across CPG packaging, branding and identity , supported by a strong portfolio Excellent conceptual thinking and the ability to develop big ideas in response to client challenges Strong proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign Good understanding of print processes, pre-press and production Exceptional typography and image-making skills Strong communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art or a related discipline Confident talking passionately and knowledgeably about your work and creative thinking A self-starting, versatile designer who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and clients Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines and changing project requirements A strong understanding of the creative process from brief through to production Benefits Flexible and entrepreneurial working environment Employee events, lunches, outings and more Medical, dental and vision insurance Monthly employer contributions Employee medical reimbursement programme Vacation leave, increasing with tenure Sick leave Major federal holidays Two-week end-of-year office closure Summer Fridays Paid parental leave 401(k) with employer match Basic Life & AD&D Insurance End-of-year discretionary bonus based on overall studio profitability and individual performance Annual educational development reimbursement About the Agency Our client is a strategically driven creative agency with studios in New York, Los Angeles and the UK .
