Job Description
Local News Inc. is a small, fast-paced publishing company located at 320 Thompson Road in Oswego. It publishes several niche publications across the region, including Oswego County Business , 55 PLUS and the monthly healthcare newspaper In Good Health . We're now hiring a full-time graphic designer who will be in charge of designing newspapers and magazines. High proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop required. Designer will work closely with the editor, with salespeople designing advertisements for various clients, with printing companies and the web designer,. Starting salary is $22.63 an hour. Hours are roughly 9 to 5. Most Fridays are half days. See publications online at www.cnyhealth.com, www.cny55.com and www.oswegocountybusiness.com. No remote work. Only people who can come over and wrap up the publications following a dummy prepared by our editors. People who live within 15 miles of Oswego preferred.
