PRIMARY DUTIES
A summary of primary tasks includes (75-80%) : Lay out artwork for customers' private-label packaging orders, applying established brand standards, templates, and style guides, and prepare artwork for both internal and external production. Create renderings for sales proposals and meetings. Execute tasks efficiently and on budget, working within approved brand guidelines and creative direction Ensure compliance of ingredients, warning labels, and font size requirements for consumer packaging. Make minor modifications to Shopify websites. Professional behavior when making phone calls and working with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Quality control inspections of all incoming products designed by creative team. Demonstrate the ability to execute projects efficiently and independently to high standards, with little oversight. Consistently communicate regularly with stakeholders, leadership, and other key team members regarding progress on short-term and long-term projects. Other duties (20-25%) : Create DTC and B2B marketing materials, e-blasts, newsletters, and tradeshow materials. Work on marketing projects and initiatives from beginning to end including concepts, design, execution for web-related projects, social media, collateral, etc. Photograph products for use in assets and images for packaging, website, social media, digital communications and marketing collateral utilizing in house equipment. Create assets for front-end content for four company websites, including both DTC and B2B audiences and users. Create photography and multimedia content for social media accounts. Support the sales team as necessary in a variety of marketing and creative service's needs. Assist in new product development initiatives—specifically for packaging concepts. Given the nature of our growing company, this position will also include assignments related to multimedia design, photography, web development, and marketing. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to a college degree, the ideal candidate for this position will have: Strong attention to detail and accountability and accuracy in work product Packaging Design Experience Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Advanced skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Web Design/HTML Experience in using AI to enhance and improve workflows and reduce efforts and time budgets Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office is required (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
BONUS:
Shopify editing experience In addition to the design skills listed above, the ideal candidate for this position will have: Minimum of 3+ years in in-house or agency graphic design. An ability to multi-task, set priorities and maintain them. Oral communication skills are clear, concise, and effective. This position has direct interaction with customers, as well as suppliers, and our internal sales and marketing team. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. An ability to work well and closely with others in a deadline-driven environment. A willingness to generate new ideas and contribute to the growth of our company and team. A willingness to learn new applications and skills - incorporate AI to increase efficiency.
SALARY LEVEL/COMPENSATION
Compensation is based on experience. Established range is $60,000 - $75,000.

REQUIRED MAJOR/EXPERIENCE
Graphic Design, Industrial Design. 3-5 years of experience in graphic design—in house or agency work.
