Job Description
- Design and produce marketing and communication materials for Park Management Company, Myriad Botanical Gardens, and Scissortail Park across print and digital platforms.
- Create materials within established brand standards and creative direction provided by the Chief Marketing & Development Officer.
- Help maintain visual consistency across organizational communications while appropriately representing the distinct identities of each property.
- Adapt existing designs, templates, and campaign creative for a variety of formats and uses. 2. Social Media & Digital Content
- Create graphics and other visual content for social media, websites, email marketing, digital advertising, and other online platforms.
- Work with the marketing team to develop visually engaging content supporting programs, events, membership, fundraising, and organizational initiatives.
- Resize, adapt, and prepare creative assets for various digital platforms and specifications. 3. Print & Publication Design
- Design and lay out brochures, flyers, posters, signage, advertisements, invitations, event materials, membership pieces, fundraising materials, and other printed collateral.
- Support the design and production of organizational publications, including The Bridge magazine and other major print projects.
- Prepare accurate, production-ready files and coordinate with printers and other vendors as needed. 4. Event & Program Creative
- Develop graphics and visual elements for seasonal events, educational programs, fundraising initiatives, concerts, festivals, and other organizational activities based on established creative direction.
- Create supporting event materials including signage, maps, schedules, promotional graphics, sponsor recognition, and onsite collateral.
- Assist with the adaptation and application of event identities across print and digital materials. 5. Project & Production Support
- Manage assigned design projects from initial request through final production while meeting established deadlines.
- Balance multiple projects and adjust priorities as organizational needs and event schedules change.
- Coordinate specifications, proofs, revisions, and production details with internal staff and outside vendors.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions from the Chief Marketing & Development Officer and other project stakeholders. 6. Collaboration & Organizational Support
- Work collaboratively with Marketing & Development and other departments to understand project needs and produce effective visual solutions.
- Assist with seasonal events, fundraising activities, and major organizational programs as needed, including occasional onsite support.
- Participate in event preparation, installation, or other activities where graphic design and marketing support are needed.
- Perform other marketing and design-related duties as assigned. 7. File Management & Quality Control
- Maintain organized design files, templates, photography, logos, and other creative assets.
- Follow established naming, storage, and archival practices so materials can be easily accessed and reused.
- Review work carefully for visual consistency, accuracy, spelling, and basic grammar before submitting materials for final approval.
- Ensure final files meet appropriate specifications for print, digital, and other production needs. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, or demonstrated experience may be considered.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Professional, internship, freelance, academic, or other relevant design experience will be considered.
- Portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills across a variety of projects is required. Skills and Abilities Required
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of fundamental graphic design principles including typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition.
- Ability to design for both print and digital applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
- Ability to follow established brand standards and creative direction while contributing ideas and creative solutions.
- Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Interest in continuing to develop design skills and stay current with evolving design tools, techniques, and trends.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of seasonal events, fundraising activities, and other organizational needs. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Pay:
