WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will be helping to drive graphic strategy and vision while working with multiple teams of designers, developers, and product managers across Basketball Branded & Signature Footwear and Apparel to deliver creative concepts that are in line with the Nike Design Ethos. This opportunity will require tight-knit collaboration to meet deadlines, ensure feasibility of designs, and communicate the creative story behind your work to internal partners. You will work closely with Design, Color, Development, and Product Management teammates to create compelling consumer experiences that connect with athletes, franchises, and fans.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As our Designer II, you will bring creativity, curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills to translate seasonal narratives into compelling graphic design solutions across Basketball Footwear and Apparel. You will create original graphics that reflect the future of Nike Basketball while connecting athlete, consumer, and cultural insights through powerful storytelling. We are looking for a strong design storyteller with a passion for sport, visual culture, and innovation. The ideal candidate possesses an affinity for world-building and narrative creation, integrating authentic stories that resonate with athletes and fans. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1-4+ years of relevant graphic design experience. Passion for current and emerging design trends and visual culture. Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling. Strong visual, verbal, and presentation skills. Knowledge of branding, typography, graphic systems, and print techniques. Ability to execute graphics across a variety of applications and product mediums. Knowledge of product creation and basic understanding of footwear and/or apparel construction. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong collaboration skills and an inclusive mindset. Portfolio showcasing creative excellence and storytelling.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will help shape the future of Nike Basketball by creating graphics that bring athlete stories, product narratives, and seasonal concepts to life across Branded & Signature Footwear and Apparel. From concept development to production-ready artwork, you will partner with Design, Color, Development, and Product Management teams to deliver compelling product experiences. A typical day may include concepting graphic narratives, building graphic toolboxes, reviewing samples, and presenting work to cross-functional partners while balancing athlete insights, consumer trends, and business needs. You'll contribute to the graphic direction of Basketball while helping create the future of sport for athletes and fans worldwide.
