Position Description Knowledge of production processes, with experience in digital design and layout software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other industry design and production software; drawing/illustration skills; type design and type specification; stock photography; computer retouching and image manipulation; and good communication skills are required.Responsibilities:
Provides design and illustration (digital and/or traditional) from conception to completion as required Develops design content for various Freestyle clients' social media platforms Designs/layouts multi-media collateral for various Freestyle clients Brainstorms for creative implementation of Freestyle clients' marketing Creates graphics for digital marketing and signage Develops logos, branding and comprehensive identity design for various Freestyle clients Works with the account team and creative director to concept and complete assigned projects and campaigns Assists account and business development teams with presentations for creative and new business pitches Maintains high skill levels in software programs required to perform assigned job functions; takes training in the use of new design and illustration software Assists in uploading and maintaining digital files, working files, photography, illustrations, logo art, typestyles, collateral samples, etc., of client materials and resources, and assists other department members in locating necessary files and references Maintains current software skills compatible with the needs of other creative team members Notifies director of operations or creative director when hardware/software requires updating or servicing Maintains Box.com file backups for in-progress jobs; and uploads completed project files Maintains inventory of necessary supplies for fulfillment of design responsibilities Reports to: Creative Director -Design Experience, Hours and Compensation:
8-10 years minimum experience at an in-house or agency setting Full-time salaried 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday) In office on Mondays, Wednesdays and available for in person meetings as needed Salary commensurate with experienceBenefits:
