About the Role We're looking for a Production Artist who can turn creative ideas and customer artwork into files that are ready to become real products. At Totally Chocolate, artwork doesn't just live on a screen. It gets engraved into chocolate, printed on packaging, cut into shapes and turned into something customers can hold. With a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense, you will ensure that every client's vision is brought to life with technical accuracy and brand consistency. You'll manage the technical execution, design and finalization of artwork for our premium chocolate products and packaging, making sure files are accurate, deadlines are met and customers know exactly what they need to provide or approve. Organization and follow-through are just as important as design skills. What You'll Own Production Art & Mockups Create detailed digital mockups and production-ready artwork for chocolate packaging, including boxes, wrappers, and template pieces from initial concept through final approval and production. Review customer-supplied artwork and determine what is needed to make it production-ready. Interpret and execute client-specific design requests, turning their branding and ideas into high-quality chocolate and packaging designs. Finalize technical designs for custom chocolate molds and engraved products, ensuring they meet the specific requirements for physical production. Create and revise proofs for customer approval. Track revisions, approvals and outstanding artwork requirements. Follow up directly with customers when artwork, information or approvals are missing. Keep artwork projects moving toward production deadlines. Prepare final, press-ready files for our in-house print department, ensuring proper document sizing, bleeds, margins, and CMYK color profiles. Finalize technical designs for custom chocolate molds and engraved products, ensuring they meet the specific requirements for physical production. Other Production Art Prepare artwork for die-cut products and packaging as needed. Work within the technical requirements of printing, engraving, packaging and manufacturing. Create artwork templates that make it easy for customers to submit artwork correctly. Maintain and update templates as product specifications change. Create, prepare and organize stock artwork for the self-serve customizer. Develop illustrations, icons, patterns and other artwork customers can use to customize products. Ensure stock artwork meets technical, production and brand requirements. Maintain an organized library of approved stock artwork. Identify opportunities to expand and improve the available stock-art library. Experience & Skills Required 3+ years of experience in production art, graphic production, prepress or a related field. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Proven experience in packaging design and preparing files for professional print production. Strong understanding of vector artwork and file preparation. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written communication. Experience working directly with customers. Portfolio demonstrating a strong aesthetic sense and clear knowledge of production-ready design. What Success Looks Like Your designs delight our customers. Pay:
