Job Description
Job Summary Seeking a Typography Designer to support product development and commercial art production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented artist or designer who enjoys typography, illustration, layout, color, and creating artwork across a wide range of styles. The Typography Designer will work closely with creative leadership to turn written direction into original artwork for physical and digital product applications. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative art department with supportive direction, consistent project flow, and room to build a long-term career path through a temp-to-hire assignment. The environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and well-suited for a designer who takes feedback well, stays organized, and enjoys seeing creative work move into production. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Art Director to create original artwork, typography, illustrations, and product-focused designs. Translate written creative direction into compelling artwork using digital and traditional techniques. Perform photo retouching, recoloring, color correction, resizing, and image preparation for production. Create artwork in multiple styles, including typography, illustrative, painterly, and trend-driven design approaches. Maintain organized digital files, records, and artwork assets while assisting with database management. Support physical product samples with occasional hand-painted embellishments as needed.
