Job Summary :
As a mid-career EGSE Engineer, you will be responsible for designing software applications for electrical test equipment, (Hardware in the Loop Systems) HILS, and other EGSE to validate our flight hardware and satellite systems. You will work closely with other engineering teams, (Assembly, Test, and Launch Ops) ATLO, program management, and manufacturing to understand component and satellite design to develop software applications for test equipment, HILS, and EGSE on schedule and within budget. This position's internal job code is Elect Design and Analysis Engr. Our team is currently hiring for Levels 3-4.Position Responsibilities:
Design HILs or EGSE software that fully validate embedded systems per a given set of requirements Coordinate with programs or products on schedules, risks, and budgets for HILS and EGSE software designs Coordinate with systems engineering on software architecture / design and fully document applications in MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) Tools Design software to control, monitor, and log the test sets, EGSE, and HILS Help develop and maintain DevSecOps pipelines to analyze, review, test, revision control, monitor, and deploy software applications to hardware Provide ongoing support for deployed software applications Provide Mentorship to junior SSE Software team members Create standards for good practices in designing and executing on SSE Software Take ownership of projects with minimal guidance from supervisors or program managers Other job duties assigned as required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree Experience developing and documenting software and firmware in LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++ Ideally more than 5 years of work experience or more than 3 years with Master's degree This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active TS/SCI clearance Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently Methodical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities Experience with National Instruments hardware Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) Experience with TestStand Experience with MBSE Experience with satellite environmental test programs per NASA and MIL-STD requirements Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery software applications including GitLab Experience with virtualization and containerization software applications Experience with early life-cycle satellite engineering activities, spacecraft integration and test, and launch operationsConflict of Interest:
