Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and robotics industry, is seeking a dedicated Chassis Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Chassis Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the development of advanced vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for innovative engineering solutions, which will align successfully in the organization.

$82-$87/hour + Benefits What's the Job? Design and develop prototype hardware and electromechanical systems using CAD tools such as
CATIA V6.
Create detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly, ensuring precision and clarity. Evaluate mechanical assemblies for static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical performance metrics. Lead component testing and characterization, developing innovative testing methods and analyzing data to inform design improvements. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage design, documentation, and delivery of vehicle components. What's Needed? Proficiency in CAD tools, especially CATIA V6, with experience in creating 2D drawings including GD&T. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; advanced degrees are a plus. Experience with strut, air spring, damper design, and development. Understanding of vehicle engineering, chassis systems, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, and system architecture. Strong communication skills and experience in testing, vehicle development, and long-term project planning. What's in it for me?
