Job Description

About Us We are looking for an Assistant Designer to join our team and support two fast-growing creative businesses:
Casual Friend:
Focused on clothing design and manufacturing.
Development Studio:
Focused on home remodels and interior design. If you love both interiors and fashion, this role gives you the unique opportunity to work hands-on across both industries right alongside the owner. What You Will Do You will help bring our projects to life from start to finish. Your day-to-day will be a mix of creative work and organization across both businesses, including:
Design & Concept:
Helping put together mood boards, material boards, and client presentations.
Sourcing & Product Development:
Sourcing furniture, decor, and fabrics; setting up product linesheets; and working with tech packs or graphic mockups.
Organization & Samples:
Managing samples, tracking production details, and keeping our design library organized.
Project Management:
Helping coordinate client communication, timelines, and vendor orders.
Content Creation:
Capturing behind-the-scenes moments and project updates for our social media and websites. What We Are Looking For A proactive, go-getter attitude who loves working in a fast-paced startup environment. Has experience fashion production, project management, or a similar creative and administrative role. A strong, natural eye for design across both home spaces and apparel. Great organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Proficiency with creative and office tools like, Canva, Adobe, Excel, Google Workspace.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
