This role will blend packaging design expertise with a strong understanding of licensed intellectual property, ensuring every product and retail touchpoint is visually impactful, commercially relevant, and compliant with brand-partner guidelines. The ideal candidate has experience designing consumer packaging from concept through production, working with established brand systems, and managing artwork approvals across internal stakeholders, vendors, and licensing partners. Key Responsibilities:

Design innovative packaging concepts and production-ready artwork for beauty, skincare, and licensed consumer products. Translate licensed intellectual property, partner guidelines, and collaboration concepts into cohesive packaging systems and product storytelling. Create packaging artwork for cartons, labels, components, inserts, PR mailers, gift sets, and retail-ready displays. Prepare and review dielines, mechanicals, specifications, and final print files for accuracy and production readiness. Manage the packaging design process from early concept development through approvals, proofing, and final production. Partner with brand, marketing, product development, production, and external licensing stakeholders to deliver high-quality creative on schedule. Ensure all licensed designs adhere to applicable style guides, approval processes, brand standards, and usage requirements. Support seasonal launches, limited-edition collections, collaborations, and retail programs with distinctive packaging and visual assets. Work closely with vendors and print partners to maintain quality, color accuracy, and consistency across materials and product formats. Stay current on beauty, packaging, licensing, and consumer-product trends to bring fresh ideas and relevant creative direction to the team.

Qualifications:

3+ years of design experience with a strong focus on packaging, print, and consumer products . Experience working with licensed brands, intellectual property, collaboration programs, or partner approval workflows is strongly preferred. Beauty, cosmetics, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods experience is highly preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging systems, print design, product storytelling, and production-ready execution. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Strong knowledge of print production, packaging construction, dielines, color management, and file setup. Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with brand compliance and technical requirements.
