This four-month contract offers the chance to shape launch-ready digital touchpoints, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deliver polished design work in a fast-moving, stakeholder-rich environment. Responsibilities Create high-fidelity designs and production-ready assets in Figma for consumer-facing digital experiences and related internal tools Translate approved concepts into clear, buildable deliverables and handoff-ready specifications aligned with brand and design system standards Work through feedback from multiple stakeholders, including product, engineering, marketing, operations, and consumer insights, to keep execution moving forward Refine designs quickly and thoughtfully as requirements evolve, while maintaining quality and consistency Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure digital experiences are practical to build, scalable, and user-focused Protect and apply brand language while following partner and licensor guidelines across all design outputs Communicate design direction clearly through presentations, written updates, and collaborative discussions Contribute ideas that support both current business needs and future scale Skills 5+ years of experience designing and shipping production-ready digital experiences Strong portfolio showing polished, shipped work rather than concept-only samples Advanced Figma skills, including final file preparation, components, and developer handoff Experience creating high-quality design work for marketing, e-commerce, email, and/or enterprise tools Ability to stay organized and productive in complex, ambiguous environments Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams with competing priorities Clear communication skills in writing, small-group discussions, and presentations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience giving and receiving constructive feedback in a professional setting Preferred Skills Experience supporting brand-forward digital experiences Background working with partner, licensor, or stakeholder guideline requirements Familiarity with design execution in fast-paced, cross-functional environments Experience balancing consumer-facing design with internal operational tools Confidence presenting design direction to a variety of audiences Horizontal is committed to fostering a workplace where diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are valued and respected.
