Job Description A large Industrial Manufacturing organization in San Diego, CA is seeking a NPI/CAD Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate would be expected to know, or learn as needed, about CAD and PLM tools used by 'new product introduction' (NPI) engineering or conceptual design groups. This is to partner with our NPI engineering groups to solve problems and make improvements. These tools primarily include PTC Creo Parametric using PTC Windchill for PLM, as well as Siemens NX. Requires an ability to troubleshoot tough issues, write a clear problem statement or user story, understand and write requirements, and create optimal conceptual/solution designs which (as needed) can be used by developers in technical design & coding. • Degree in an engineering or computer science field preferred
• 2+ years work experience using MCAD (ideally Creo Parametric or Siemens NX) with a PLM system, with a strong desire and ability to further learn/use CAD tools.
• Business Analytics, Project Management, Data Management or relevant experience
• 3D printing or additive manufacturing, Model-Based Definition, SPDM platforms, HPC environments, or

PLM/CAD AI

tools is a plus.

• Experience in an NPI engineering organization, ideally in the area of turbomachinery products doing conceptual design and/or PLM and MCAD support, training, or administration
