This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a designer who is comfortable balancing creative concepting with detailed production execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in packaging design, including dielines, product specifications, copy development, photography direction, and the use of AI-generated imagery. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to create clear, compelling, and production-ready packaging solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Design packaging across categories including seasonal, home furnishings, apparel, domestics, cookware, and hardware. Create and revise dielines, layouts, packaging copy, and product specifications. Incorporate photography and AI-generated imagery into packaging concepts and final designs. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets brand, product, and production requirements. Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and timelines.
Qualifications:
Proven packaging design experience in a consumer product environment. Strong knowledge of dielines, print production, typography, and layout. Ability to develop packaging from initial concept through final production files. Experience working across multiple product categories and managing a fast-paced workload.
