We are looking for a designer with a strong passion for yacht exterior design, with particular focus on styling, sketching and 3D modeling. The ideal candidate has a good sense of proportions, volumes and aesthetics and is able to develop an exterior design from initial sketches through detailed 3D surfaces.

Responsibilities:

Yacht exterior styling and concept development Hand sketching and digital sketching Development of exterior forms, proportions and design details 3D modeling and surface development Exploration of alternative styling solutions Preparation of design presentations and visual material Collaboration with the senior design team throughout the development of new yacht concepts

Qualifications:

Background in Yacht Design, Transportation Design, Industrial Design or similar Strong sketching and visual communication skills Strong 3D modeling skills Good understanding of proportions, surfaces and form development Siemens NX experience is preferred Experience with Photoshop and other design/presentation software is a plus Yacht design experience is preferred but not required Good written and spoken English Creative, detail-oriented and motivated to develop within the yacht design industry This is a junior position, and recent graduates with an excellent portfolio are encouraged to apply. A portfolio demonstrating sketching, exterior styling and 3D modeling skills is required. The position is based in South Florida and requires in-person collaboration. Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
