Hogsalt is looking for a Design Intern to join our team! As the Design Intern, you will support active design projects under the guidance of the project team bringing our spaces to life. You will keep the design library and material samples organized and coordinate vendor visits.

Experience & Qualifications:

Passion for design, a positive attitude, and unafraid to ask questions Accurate and detail-oriented Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a CIDA-accredited program Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) Proficiency in rendering software is a plus (SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, Lumion, etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with active design projects under the guidance of the project team (CAD drawings, InDesign presentations, Photoshop, and product rendering studies) Assist with selecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes Organize and maintain the design library and material samples Order samples and track deliveries Communicate with vendors and obtain pricing and lead time information under guidance Coordinate vendor visits, including setup and cleanup Clearly communicate in written and verbal form Monitor and proactively report progress on tasks and assignments Other duties as assigned Hogsalt is not your typical restaurant group.
