Job Summary/Objective:

The Product Design Engineer I will assist in the design and development of new products and the improvement of existing products. This entry-level position involves working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing their duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in the design and development of new products. 2. Create and modify CAD models and drawings. 3. Conduct research on materials, components, and manufacturing processes. 4. Support prototype development and testing. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility. 6. Prepare documentation and reports on design activities and outcomes. 7.

CAD Proficiency:

Qualifications/ Education/ Skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 5. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Licenses or Certification (Required/Preferred): Certified

SOLIDWORKS

Associate (CSWA): Validates basic proficiency in

SOLIDWORKS CAD

software. Certified Professional in Product Design (CPPD): Recognizes foundational knowledge in product design principles. Autodesk Certified User (ACU): Demonstrates skills in Autodesk software like
