Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Designer for our client Vernon Hills, IL. This is a contracted opportunity with potential for hire. The ideal candidate will design and engineer custom point-of-purchase displays (temporary and permanent) — from sketch concepts through full SolidWorks engineering packages, photo-realistic renderings, and physical prototypes. Solve mechanical/structural challenges with manufacturability and cost in mind, using wood, metal, plastic (sheet, vacuum-formed, injection-molded), and wire. Collaborate closely with designers, account executives, vendors, and project managers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Industrial Design or related field (preferred) 2-3 years' relevant experience Skilled in Sketching, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, KeyShot Familiar with POP display materials/processes (metal, wood, plastic, 3D printing, injection molding) Strong communication, organization, and ability to juggle multiple fast-paced projectsPay:
$22.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
