Job Description

Power Electronics Applications Engineer responsible for power conversion product development, analog and control system design, hardware validation, and technical application support. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in power electronics design, development, or applications engineering. Experience designing DC-DC converters, power supplies, power conversion systems, or related power electronics solutions. Strong knowledge of analog circuit design and electrical engineering fundamentals. Knowledge of feedback loops, control systems, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and power system analysis. Experience with simulation and design tools such as MATLAB, LTspice, SIMPLIS, Altium, or similar platforms. Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, network analyzers, EMI analyzers, electronic loads, and power sources. Experience performing hardware validation, bench testing, system characterization, and troubleshooting. Experience supporting technical product integration and customer applications. Preferred Skills Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience with high-density PCB design and HDI technologies. Experience with power delivery network (PDN) design. Knowledge of digital electronics and embedded systems. Experience using Python or other scripting languages for test and bench automation. Experience developing automated validation and test solutions. Experience supporting product launches, reference designs, evaluation hardware, or technical training. Job Responsibilities Define product requirements and develop detailed technical specifications based on application and market requirements. Lead new product development activities through the New Product Introduction process from concept through production release. Design and evaluate power electronics systems, including DC-DC converters, power supplies, and power conversion circuits. Develop system test hardware, validation plans, and automated test solutions. Perform bench testing, validation, troubleshooting, and system characterization. Analyze analog circuits, feedback loops, EMI performance, and power system behavior. Support design integration activities through application guidance, technical reviews, reference designs, and troubleshooting. Develop simulation models, design tools, and technical engineering resources. Create datasheets, evaluation boards, reference designs, application notes, and supporting technical documentation. Develop and deliver technical training related to products, applications, and engineering tools. Support engineering, product management, sales, marketing, and program management activities throughout product development and launch.
Pay:
