POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

3D CAD sheet metal design and drafting of mechanical components and assemblies Drawing conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor Sheet metal Part design, analysis, debug and rework Report preparation and presentation at the end of the project All activities will be designed to give the intern a full understanding of the BAC engineering design and insight into fabrication

QUALIFICATIONS

Pursing a Bachelors (Junior or above) in Mechanical Engineering or related field Mechanical Design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices Must be mechanically inclined and be able to visualize mechanical (spatial) relationships 3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience (i.e. Autodesk Inventor) Thorough understanding of AutoCAD Sheet Metal design experience preferred Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred Previous internship experience preferred BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour. BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
