You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
Leading a team of product engineers to deliver innovative product solutions from concept to market.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including industrial design and marketing, to develop new product concepts.

Reviewing engineering designs and drawings to ensure compliance with Steelcase standards and customer requirements.

Driving project timelines and resolving cross-functional issues to keep development on track.

Mentoring and developing team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management.

Overseeing new product development activities, ensuring quality and manufacturability throughout the process.

Building strong internal relationships to foster alignment and effective communication across teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of engineering experience (preference for product engineering)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline)Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Driving timelines, resolving cross-functional issues, and fostering collaboration across teamsAbility to collaborate effectively with global team membersBuilding strong internal relationships and promoting effective communicationApplying knowledge of product design with materials such as steel, aluminum, plastics, wood, glass, and textiles, including a familiarity with CAD tools for design, analysis, and reviewThe starting annual base salary range for this position is $110,000•$125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
