Job Summary:
We are seeking a mechanical staff designer with a growth mindset and superior interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is eager to grow in their career to become an industry leader. They will take calculated risks and thrive on autonomy. This role requires a team player with a passion for innovation, who is also a tireless learner, and capable of designing projects independently with the support of their peers. The ideal candidate will have a role in interacting and building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine code review and analysis. Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment. Follows design standards set by the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record. Researches and presents equipment and design options to the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record. Follows company master design standards. Ensures that the QA/QC process is followed and documented. Develops a working knowledge of all system types within their discipline. Develops knowledge of current design trends and best practices. Creates project specific details, schematics, and sketches. Assembles specifications, including project specific information.

Have:
Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college. At least 2 years of related building systems design experience. Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD. Microsoft Office Suite of products experience. Design your career and future with MCE! Salary Range:
$66,200
  • 78,100 annually.
Individual employee compensation is determined with a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, knowledge, skills, geography, and performance. Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives. Sponsorship is not available.
