This is design at the intersection of product, policy, and human behavior you're shaping how safety feels across a platform used by 500 million+ teens globally, navigating an evolving regulatory landscape that makes the work both urgent and intellectually rich.

We're looking for a generalist systems thinker with a content design foundation

• someone who has evolved into end-to-end product design leadership and brings that language-first sensibility to experiences w clarity, empathy, and precision are the design.

• they're creative material. The work you ship sets standards that ripple across thepany. Required Skills Product Designer, Trust & Safety Responsibilities Lead the design vision for trust and safety experiences across Instagram
• setting strategic direction at the portfolio level, not just individual features Design end-to-end product experiences for youth safety, parental controls, creator protections, and platform integrity
• w clear, empatheticmunication is the core UX Translateplex regulatory, policy, and safety requirements into intuitive, human-centered experiences that work for teens, parents, and creators alike Drive alignment and influence across Design, Product, Policy, Engineering, and Legal at senior leadership levels Define and elevate the craft of content-informed product design
• mentoring designers and establishing standards and best practices for how wemunicate sensitive topics at scale Navigate significant ambiguity andpeting constraints to deliver cohesive, trustworthy experiences Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in product design or a related discipline 8+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software atpany-level scale, leading the end-to-end experience within a large-scale, ambiguous domain Content design background with demonstrated evolution into holistic product design (IxD + content + systems thinking) Experience with mobile-first, consumer-social product design at scale Experience navigating ambiguity across design, product, policy, engineering, and legal functions to deliver cohesive oues Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Ability to turn regulatory requirements into a human-centered, intuitive user experience Experience designing in Trust & Safety, well-being, or heavily regulated/policy-constrained spaces Strategic vision at the portfolio/program level Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.
