CREATIVE PROJECT COORDINATOR - EVENTS & MARKETING LOVE BEING CREATIVE-AND MAKING THINGS HAPPEN?
If you're highly organized, naturally resourceful, have a great creative eye, and love making things happen, this is the kind of role where you can learn fast, take on real responsibility and see your work come to life. Food Trends Catering & Events is looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to work across events, branding, marketing, social media and design. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one-and no two days look exactly the same.
ABOUT FOOD TRENDS
For over 25 years, Food Trends Catering & Events has been a trusted name in New York City's catering and events industry, known for exceptional food, creative presentation and seamless execution. Our work has taken us from corporate boardrooms and intimate celebrations to major events for more than 1,000 guests. We've had the privilege of serving celebrities, royalty, Fortune 500 companies, influential C-suite executives and some of New York City's leading organizations and venues. We're a woman-owned, family-run company with more than 100 employees, combining the creativity and energy of an entrepreneurial business with the experience and reputation of an established industry leader.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
One day you might be developing signage and décor for a major NYC event. The next, you could be coordinating a photoshoot, designing a client presentation, sourcing packaging for a new food concept or creating content for social media.
You'll:
Create menus, presentations, signage and marketing materials Assist with event design, styling and décor Manage creative projects from idea through execution Research and source décor, packaging, signage and creative elements Coordinate printers, photographers, videographers and other vendors Assist with photoshoots, tastings and branded content Create social media content and reels Maintain and update website content Manage proofs, ordering, deadlines and vendor follow-ups This isn't a traditional graphic design job. You'll design, but you'll also research, source, organize, coordinate, follow up and make sure projects actually get finished.
WHAT WE'RE REALLY LOOKING FOR
Creative ability matters, but organization, ownership and follow-through matter just as much. We move quickly and often have a lot happening at once. We need someone who can be handed a project-or a long list of projects-and take ownership without needing constant reminders. You're someone who: Is extremely organized and detail-oriented Has a strong work ethic and sense of urgency Takes initiative and follows through Naturally keeps track of tasks, details and deadlines Can juggle multiple projects without letting things fall through the cracks Is resourceful and comfortable figuring things out Works quickly while maintaining accuracy Has a strong creative eye and good design instincts
