Senior Package Designer We are seeking a Senior Packaging Designer who combines strong creative skills with technical production expertise to develop compelling, brand-consistent packaging from concept through final production. This role translates product features into clear visual storytelling while ensuring packaging is accurate, functional, and ready for manufacturing. The ideal candidate brings exceptional attention to detail, strong eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Lead packaging design projects from initial concept through final production, balancing brand standards, product messaging, and technical requirements. Create compelling layouts that communicate product features and benefits through typography, imagery, and packaging copy. Develop packaging structures, dielines, digital and physical mockups, and 3D renderings to support design development and presentation. Apply licensed brand guidelines consistently while identifying opportunities for fresh, effective design. Develop and maintain accurate packaging specifications, incorporating approved changes throughout the design and production process from the VP of Creative/Art. Prepare and review production-ready artwork for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to printer and factory specifications. Collaborate with internal teams, factories, vendors, and external agencies to resolve design and production issues and keep projects on schedule. Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Train and mentor mid-level and junior designers in packaging design, file preparation, and production standards, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback. Work alongside graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and the ecommerce team to maintain consistent product imagery, messaging, and branding across packaging and digital channels. Serve as a technical resource for packaging design and production, recommending improvements to workflows, packaging quality, and execution.

Qualifications:

6+ years of packaging design experience, with a strong foundation in graphic design and branding. A strong portfolio demonstrating packaging projects from concept through final execution. Advanced knowledge of packaging structures, dieline creation, print production, and artwork preparation for printers and manufacturers. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and working proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience working with licensed brands and applying detailed brand guidelines. Excellent command of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy. Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and follow through from concept to completion with minimal supervision. Receptiveness to constructive feedback, with the ability to evaluate input, adapt designs, and approach revisions with professionalism and a collaborative mindset. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and changing priorities. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and communicate technical requirements. A collaborative, adaptable approach and a proactive mindset toward solving problems and improving processes. Experience with 3D design or rendering software is a plus.
