Position Summary The Engineering Intern will support the Product Engineering team with product design, testing, documentation, process improvement, and cross-functional project work. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment and is ideal for a student who is eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world product development, manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Assist engineers with product design, development, testing, and validation activities. Support creation and maintenance of engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, work instructions, and test reports. Participate in troubleshooting product, process, quality, or manufacturing issues and help identify practical solutions. Collect, organize, and analyze data to support product performance, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. Use engineering tools, CAD software, spreadsheets, and other systems to complete assigned projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales, and operations. Assist with prototype builds, product testing, design reviews, and engineering change requests. Observe and follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies. Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, or recommendations for review by engineering leadership. Perform other engineering-related duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Work Environment This role may include time in both office and manufacturing environments. The intern may be required to stand, walk, sit, use a computer, review equipment or production processes, and follow all applicable safety requirements.
