Job Description
Rust Buster FrameWorks is a company dedicated to manufacturing and offering affordable solutions for rust issues on truck and Jeep frames. Our expertise lies in crafting high-quality frame repair kits for body-on-frame vehicles, including models like Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, FJ Cruisers, 4runners, Chevy & GMC Pick-Up Trucks, Jeep Wranglers & CJ's, and Ford F-150s. Fishbone Offroad was established in 2016. Our passion and goals are to manufacture affordable high-quality products for the Jeep enthusiast. Specializes in off-road bumpers, fenders, step sides, storage solutions and equipment for several Jeep models and Trucks This is a fully in-person position in North Lima, Ohio. Candidates must currently live within commuting distance or have confirmed local housing before the internship begins. Relocation assistance is not provided. (Rust Buster and Fishbone Offroad)
Job Requirements:
Engineering Roles:
- New product development insight
- Create 2D/3D drawings in SolidWorks 2024
- Hands on part installation
- Instructional input on new products
- Manage projects and schedules
- Inspection of components using calipers and thread gauges
- Using and running 3D printers and scanners to prototype new parts
- Attend new product development meetings
- Update statuses on items currently being worked on
Job Qualifications:
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with others
- Ability to work with other team members as well as independently
- Microsoft Excel and project management tools
- Knowledge of engineering principles and standards
- Completed a 3D solid modeling class
- General understanding of hand tools used to install and inspect parts such as socket sets, torque wrenches and digital calipers.
Availability and Hours:
- 20-30 hours when in school, up to 40 hours in the summer
- Flexible work schedule
Education:
- Available for MET and ME Students, no prior internship required
