product cost, energetics, serviceability, and life Interpret product requirements to understand customer needs and incorporate solutions into product design Iterate on design options quickly to find the best solution Design for manufacturability, assembly, installation, and service Analyze and refine the selected design option, collaborating with other team members to create a cohesive and unified product design Validate designs through engineering analysis and real-world scale testing Define design details with full CAD model and BoM, in collaboration with external component suppliers and integrators What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications) Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in power generation, heavy industrial, chemical process, or similar industry Bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or engineering technology or equivalent What will make you stand out CAD expertise with NX (Unigraphics) Prior experience with New Product Introduction for Accessories or similar process equipment (piping, valves, instrumentation, enclosures, etc.) Knowledge of manufacturing processes, capabilities, and assembly procedures; especially in collaboration with external global vendors Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with constantly changing requirements Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and self-directed skill development Experience with drawing and model-based product definition strategies Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
