Denton MEP is a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design firm based in the heart of downtown Denton, Texas. THE ROLE
This is a support role working directly alongside our Project Leads and Studio Managers to develop MEP construction drawings in AutoCAD. It's a hands-on way to learn the profession from experienced designers while contributing to real projects from day one. You'll grow your technical skills, your CAD ability, and your understanding of how buildings come together — with a clear path to advance as you do.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support Project Leads and Studio Managers in producing MEP drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD. Make edits, revisions, and markups to drawing sets as directed by the project team. Assist with drawing organization, sheet setup, and general project production tasks. Take on a variety of tasks and roles as project needs shift — and grow your skills along the way.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 0-2
years of experience — recent graduates and those early in their careers are encouraged to apply. AutoCAD training, certification, or hands-on experience is helpful; basic familiarity is a strong plus. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) familiarity is required. A team player who is flexible with tasks and roles and communicates well with others. Comfort in a fast-paced environment with the interest and drive to keep learning. A long-term mindset — this role is fully in-office in downtown Denton for at least the first two years.
WHAT WE OFFER
Starting hourly pay of $16-$20/hour, depending on experience and education, with a pay review after the 90-day introductory period.
