Dev Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is searching for a Dev Engineer to support one of their customers in the supports the aerospace and defense industry. This Dev Engineer will be a hands‑on mechanical engineering role supporting design, testing, manufacturing, and customer engagement for rocket motor and propulsion systems. This role blends CAD design, production support, and customer‑facing collaboration — not a desk‑only position. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Design mechanical components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or other similar
• Create, review, and modify engineering drawings for production
• Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment or production issues
• Assist with RFQs, early‑stage R D, and transition from design to production
• Work directly with testing equipment (e.g., X‑ray systems, grinders, lab tools)
• Participate in frequent meetings with customers and internal stakeholders
