Position Summary The Engineering Intern gains hands-on experience in a shipbuilding engineering environment by supporting technical projects and documentation under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role helps build foundational engineering skills through exposure to real-world design, testing, and engineering processes. Essential Functions Assist engineers in completing technical deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and reports
Support design and analysis through 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and defining material requirements for assigned projects
Assist with hull analysis, stability calculations, and weight estimating to support marine engineering design
Assist with all testing activities, including preparation, dockside testing, and sea trials as needed
Other duties as assigned
