Role Description The Sales Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Ana, CA, responsible for guiding clients through the complete kitchen design and sales process. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients in the showroom, assessing their needs and lifestyle, and developing tailored kitchen layouts that reflect both functional and aesthetic goals. The role involves preparing design proposals and presentations, specifying cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and fixtures, and managing detailed quotations. The Sales Designer will follow up on leads, maintain strong client relationships, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate ordering and timely project delivery. This position also supports showroom merchandising, participates in design reviews, and contributes to ongoing improvement of client experience and sales processes. Qualifications Strong Sales skills with a proven ability to convert leads, upsell solutions, and meet or exceed revenue targets. Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust, explain complex design options clearly, and provide a high-touch client experience. Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills, including space planning, product selection, and familiarity with contemporary and European design aesthetics. Experience working in a showroom or design studio environment, preferably in kitchens, baths, or high-end residential design. Basic proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., CAD or kitchen design software) and comfort reviewing technical drawings. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors while maintaining a solutions-focused mindset. Prior experience in luxury retail, residential construction, or related fields is highly beneficial. Availability to work standard retail and showroom hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
