Job Description
Interior Design Intern We're looking for a creative, motivated Interior Design Intern to join our team! This is a paid, hands-on opportunity to experience the day-to-day world of residential interior design and gain exposure to projects from the early design stages through installation and styling. You'll work alongside our design team, assisting with everything from CAD drawings and renderings to sourcing, vendor communication, client meetings, and installations. No two days in the studio are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to jump in wherever needed. What You'll Be Doing Create and assist with CAD drawings, floor plans, space planning, 3D visuals, and renderings Help source furnishings, materials, finishes, and other project selections Communicate with vendors to gather estimates, product details, lead times, and order updates Assist with preparing client estimates, orders, presentations, and project materials Participate in on-site measurements and client meetings alongside the design team Help organize samples and maintain our studio materials library Pick up samples, purchases, and vendor orders and assist with local project errands Support the team during installations, deliveries, and final project styling Assist with tracking project details and keeping selections and materials organized Provide general studio and project support as needed What We're Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp or similar drafting/rendering software Understanding of space planning and basic interior design principles Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable communicating with vendors, clients, and team members Passion for residential interiors, furnishings, materials, and styling Positive, dependable, and willing to learn Able to manage multiple tasks in a creative, fast-paced studio environment Most importantly, someone who is excited to be involved, take initiative, and grow with our team What You'll Gain This isn't an internship where you'll spend your entire day watching from the sidelines.
