Interior Designer

Boutique Interior Design studio with a focus on Hospitality and Restaurant interior projects is seeking an Interior Designer. The ideal candidate will work with and support our Creative Director and/or Senior Designers in the concept and development of a diverse range of projects. The primary responsibilities for this role are: Research visual collateral to support design concepts Develop programming and space plans Develop material and color schemes/solutions Generate presentation visuals Generate budgets Source materials and furnishings appropriate for project budget and timeline Interior detail drawings Document project selections/ Specification writing Maintain/track project execution Ideal skills for this candidate: Ability to problem solve/ identify problems and bring solutions to the table Visual Graphic Sensibility for Design Presentations AutoCAD Sketch Up Pro Adobe In Design Adobe Photoshop MS Excel and Word Ability to read architectural floor plans, elevations and RCPs Knowledge of industry sourcing (furniture, interior finishing materials) Ability to support and work with studio team members Ability to coordinate with project consultants A Degree in Design is required
