4 Days In Office / 1 Day Remote 4 - 7 Years of Experience We are looking for a designer with strong technical and project-delivery skills who also brings thoughtful design judgment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative interiors team. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking a design concept developed with the team and carrying it through documentation, detailing, coordination and construction. This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, developing drawing sets, coordinating materials and finishes, and helping keep projects organized and moving forward. Our work spans multifamily, commercial and single-family residential design, with projects throughout the Northeast and across the country, as well as occasional international work. As an integrated architecture and interiors practice with close ties to Granoff Real Estate, our designers also have the opportunity to work directly on development projects and see how design decisions carry through construction, operations and the long-term life of a building. What You'll Do Work collaboratively with the interiors team during programming, concept development and schematic design Take ownership of project transitions and handovers, helping carry established design concepts through documentation, coordination and execution Develop and coordinate interior construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans and schedules Support the delivery of large-scale multifamily and commercial interiors projects, including ongoing design development, documentation, FF&E coordination and technical follow-through Manage a significant amount of construction administration across multiple active projects, including submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, site visits, field coordination and consultant follow-up Coordinate materials, finishes, millwork, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware and other interior components Assist with specifications, pricing exercises, substitutions and value-engineering selections while protecting the overall design intent Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and manufacturers to resolve technical and constructability issues Participate in office, workplace and expansion projects as needed Contribute to larger collaborative design efforts, including projects such as RMS, where responsibilities are shared across the interiors team and divided by deliverable and individual strength Manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high degree of organization and follow-through Contribute to the continued evolution of GA's Revit, visualization and production workflows What We're Looking For 4 - 7 years of professional interior design experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field Strong technical foundation with experience developing interior construction documents and details Good design sensibility and the ability to understand and carry forward an established design concept Experience with construction administration, consultant coordination and field conditions Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork, furniture, lighting and interior detailing Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud Revit experience strongly preferred as GA continues expanding its BIM-based workflow Rhino experience is a plus Experience with D5, Enscape, AI or other visualization/rendering platforms is a plus Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to balance multiple projects and deliverables while working collaboratively within an integrated architecture and interiors team Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI and new tools that can improve documentation, coordination and design workflowsPay:
