Position is based out of our Boca Raton Office. Description Come join the #1 residential interior design firm in the U.S. as our newest Interior Detailing Design Associate! Based in Winter Park, Florida, Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Inc. is a global leader in the world of luxury design. Key Skills Required Multitask proficiently and accurately Effective communication skills and a hospitable disposition Strong organizational and time management skills Produce high quality work within given time limitations Travel to any location to satisfy the project needs Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite and Design Manager Key Responsibilities Maintain administrative requirements and keep projects organized Multi-task several projects at once staying productive and efficient Communicate scheduling conflicts to your direct manager and provide solutions that enable you to complete your responsibilities Produce drawings and presentations beginning with conceptual design taken through the phases of design development, construction documents, and construction administration Coordinate proactively and collaborate with other members of the interior detailing team Provide design solutions to guide fabrication consultants (cabinetry, millwork, stone, metal, etc.). Review their shop drawings to ensure design intent is followed through Accommodate deadline expectations agreed to by both client and design team Coordinate with all or some of the following: private client, builder/GC, developer, and architect Occasionally present design ideas and details with confidence Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture required 1-2 years' experience preferred
