Hoefer Welker has an opening for an experienced Interior Designer with 8+ years of experience. This person will have an exceptional creative design portfolio and will collaborate in all phases of project design with a focus on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation, and selection of materials, finishes, furniture and artwork.Essential Functions:
Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process Possess interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects Assist the Director of Healthcare Interiors and have Project Management experience Ability to assist in production and development of design proposals Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets Ability to lead client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintain client contact Proficiency in Revit with experience in Revit rendering.Job Requiremetns Education and Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 8+ years of relevant interiors project experience required. A creative design portfolio is required.Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.Required Skills/Abilities:
The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills. Proficiency with Revit and other computer design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup and 3D rendering is desired. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to perform each essential duty effectively.
