Job Description
Lead Interior Designer MRCELA Custom Homes | Orlando, Florida MRCELA Custom Homes is a high-end luxury home builder specializing in modern architecture, timeless design, and meticulous craftsmanship. Our projects are located in premier communities such as Lake Nona Estates, where we design and build one-of-a-kind custom residences defined by innovation, precision, and elevated living. We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Lead Interior Designer to play a key role in the design and execution of our luxury custom homes. This position will work closely with ownership to translate a strong design vision into fully realized, market-leading residences. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take direction at a high level, bring structure, and execute at an exceptional standard. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of interior design concepts across multiple luxury custom home projects Translate high-level creative direction into cohesive, detailed, and buildable design solutions Oversee all interior selections including materials, finishes, fixtures, lighting, and furnishings Produce and manage design drawings, specifications, and presentation packages Coordinate closely with architects, builders, and consultants to ensure design intent is carried through construction Manage timelines, budgets, and procurement for all interior design components Source and build relationships with high-end vendors and suppliers Participate in client-facing meetings and presentations as needed Maintain consistency in design quality and brand identity across all projects Qualifications 8-15+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design Proven experience working on luxury homes (ideally $5M+ range or equivalent level of design) Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp, Revit, or other design tools a plus Exceptional eye for proportion, materials, and detail Ability to manage multiple projects and execute under deadlines Strong organizational and communication skills Experience coordinating with construction teams and understanding of build process Why Join MRCELA Custom Homes Lead design on $7M-$20M custom homes Work directly with ownership in a highly collaborative, design-driven environment Opportunity to shape and refine a distinct luxury brand and design identity High level of creative involvement with real impact on final product and market positioning Long-term growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding high-end residential platform To Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief note outlining your experience with high-end residential design.
